Therapy for fear of panic attacks - agoraphobia

You can manage and overcome your agoraphobia, let us help you

Agoraphobia can be a horrible feeling, and so If you suffer from agoraphobia you may end up avoiding things like shops, public transport and crowds, as much as possible.

The reason is that these places can feel like it's a location thats difficult to escape from easily.  In addition, there can be a fear of embarrassment and so you find it's just easier 'not to go'.

Obviously however, this is an uncomfortable experience and one that you no longer need to suffer from.

I can help.

You see, people who suffer from agoraphobia aren't specifically afraid of of having panic attacks but are more afraid about what other people will think, should they be seen having a panic attack.

It's quite common for a person who suffers from agoraphoibia to avoid situations such as :

- A Crowded public place, this can be places like such as supermarkets, shopping centres and restaurants.
- Enclosed or confined places, these can be places like long tunnels, bridges or or lifts.
- Public transport,  such as trains, buses, underground trains or planes as there's no 'easy' escape route.
- Being away from home alone (without your support person)

One common feature with this specific anxiety is that often the person who is suffering has a 'safer' person who they normally rely on (Often your spouse, partner, a parent, or anyone to whom you have an attachment).  When that person isn't available, it's even worse.

But because of these severe restrictions you end up placing on your lifestyle, you can then end up suffering frm depression, so if this is you, if you solve the agoraphobia, then you solve the depression that you're suffering with automatically also.

You have the power to changer all of this, and it starts with simply taking the first step of making contact with me.

My 11 years old son is troubled with anxiety which at times has been very severe. With the pressures of SATs and a school trip abroad, Joel used hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques to prepare him. My son surprised his parents, teachers and friends with his calm, confident and mature approach to the challenges he faced.

Contacted Joel for my insomnia with great results after the second session. The techniques he gave me are incredibly effective. Thank you very much indeed
